Insurance Receipts in Physiotherapy
Most private physiotherapy is paid by the patient and reimbursed by an extended health plan. The insurer checks the receipt, not the software: your name, licence number, profession, the service, the date and the amount paid all have to be there. Colib prints them on every insurance receipt, in the patient's language, and the patient submits it to the insurer. Colib does not transmit claims to insurers; the patient stays in control of the submission.
Physiotherapy services delivered by a licensed physiotherapist are exempt from GST/HST, while products such as braces, tape or exercise equipment are taxable. In Colib you set the default taxes per appointment type and per product once, so each invoice line comes out right.
